Copyright Infringement Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied or infringed upon through Screenplay Editor, please notify us with the following information:
Required Information for DMCA Notice
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material
- Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed

Our Response
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the user who uploaded the content
- Preserve evidence for potential legal proceedings
- Take other actions as required by law
Counter Notification
If you believe that your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed in error
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located

Repeat Infringers
Screenplay Editor has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are repeat infringers. We may terminate user accounts, access, or ability to use the service for users who repeatedly and flagrantly violate copyright laws.
No Liability for User Content
Please note that Screenplay Editor acts as a neutral service provider and does not endorse, host, or review the content created or stored by users. We are not liable for user-generated content. However, we take copyright infringement seriously and will promptly address legitimate claims.
